We use only these USA Made Rosco Stainless split rings on our kits and finished lures.
Our Tuna Tamer needlefish and popper lures use the triple split rings.

#2H -50 Pack Stainless with 30lb rating

We use these with our #4 and #6 Black Nickel hooks.
Good size and super tough for freshwater fishing!

#4H -50 Pack Stainless with 90lb rating

We use this size on all VMC hooks from #1 to #2/0

#5H -50 Pack Stainless with 110lb rating

We use this size on all VMC hooks from 2/0 to 5/0

#4-3X Strong 10 Pack Stainless triple rings, 110lb rating. Good for smaller lures and for keeping hooks close to the belly of a lure. Since VMC doesn't recommend their hooks to be cut for durability issues, these small triple rings work very well on lures like darters etc where you want the hooks to stay tight to the body for less chance of spiking and fouling. They are a little over 1/4" diameter.

#7-3X Strong 10 Pack Stainless triple rings, 270lb rating, these are about 3/8" diameter.

These split rings really are serious overkill-if you are opening 2x split rings then I recommend you loosen your drag. This is light tackle fishing and today's braids don't stretch like the lines previously available. Use for tuna fishing, GT, etc.
