.062 Nickel Plated Brass
Screw Eyes
These are designed for any
fish under 15 lbs, typically used in freshwater. These are specifically designed for use as a
wood lure eye, having tapered threads only on one side to eliminate
pull-out and increase strength!
We recommend predrilling a
small pilot hole for these eyes, either 3/64 or 1/32 size, then use a 30
minute epoxy such as Devcon, Loctite, etc to hold the eye in the wood.
Use a small piece of wire to get some in the hole first then put a small
amount of epoxy on the threads before screwing in.

Screw Eye Finishing Washers
These are 18-8 stainless steel, they go under the head of the
Magnum screw eye
and provide a nice wide surface to bear the stress of the eye.
You don't absolutely have to have these but we believe it makes a big
difference in the strength of the eye.
Gives you a great finished look too! |
